40 hour famine go hard out for the hungry

Tonight we began the 20 hour famine and what we are doing tonight, tonight we are having games and we might be watching a movie. The 20 hour famine sleep over is a really good experience because people in other countries are starving right now because of the poor water and food supplies. All round the world people participate in the 40 hour famine to help those people who are in need of food supplies and clean water. The people who we are helping are people who have been hit from tsunamis and country's that have been in an earthquake. The only things that we can eat and drink are are water,just juice and Barley sugars. Earl today we had started the famine and we started at 12pm and is pretty hard.

Trip to eden park

On Tuesday just gone we went to Eden Park to go and weigh in for the championship round for Tamaki Marist club (Down at dunkurik). 10 of us went on a van to Eden Park and on the way Erene was being an egg because every car we were next to, Erene always said “sole”.
Then one car came and it stayed with us all the way to Cornwall Park and every time they parked by our van we all ways said “sole”. The first time we said “sole” they laughed and it was funny as.

When they left they where gone and we just laughed with enjoyment but it was a little disrespectful. I just forgot that I had chips and lollies and chocolates and when we came to the last of the chips, lollies and chocolates me and my friend Jaguar turned around and we ate it in front of all the boys. Then they wanted some so we gave them the chips but there were no more chips so we threw the papers at them and the where like ooohhhh eats and we were laughing at them and they were angry but we did not care.



Before we knew it we where at Eden Park and I was so happy because it smelt like fart inside the van. Then we went to go and weigh in inside Eden Park and it was really big and it was cold there because we got there at 7.30 just to go and weigh in but it was still fun because I was with my friends. When we got there we were playing around in the stadium and it was fun because there where other kids and then we started to play rugby. When we went to the place to go and weigh in we were playing with the all star rugby players were our dads

We need to earn points for our class because we are at the bottom of the list and we are losing. My classes current score is 225. The class with the highest score with 590 is room 19. We are losing like nothing because we need to work on being quiet and helping people and being the best class in assembly. We need more points and we also need to be quiet. How do we earn points? It is 50pts- for a bin it award, 50pts for lunch box heroes, 50pts-for 1st class to assembly, 50pts-Best class @ assembly, 10pts-principal award and it is 10pts-for doing a karakia / Mihmih.

welcoming Vistors From America

On Monday we had to do a powhiri for the people that came from America. They came to New Zealand to come and see what we a like in Pt England School. Early in the morning we had to go and get ready for the powhiri. When we finished we had to go outside we had to wait for the teacher to come and get us for a practise in the hall. When we were all ready we walked to the hall and had a practise and it was a good practise. Then the second bell went and we had to wait to performer to the Americana's and it was a little bit cool. Then when we finished the karakia we had to go and sing a song. Then they sang a song to us and that was a pretty cool song. When we had done all of our things we went back to the class rooms and got changed. Then after that we learnt a new song.

Michael Jackson is one of the most famous singer in the whole entire world because he is the king of pop. Michael Jackson's middle name is joseph. Michael Jackson was in a famous band called Jackson 5. Why was it called that it was called that because Michael Jackson's brothers and sisters are in his band. In 2008 Michael Jackson had died it was so unfair for Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson is one of the best dancers in the world and he also made up some moves.

A Great Trip To Eden Park

Immersion

5 Classes to go to. Three down and 2 to go. This is part of an immersion rotation in the Senior School. The ones that my class have been to are Mr Barks, Ms Tito and Mrs Lagitupu. I will tell you what their themes are.

The first theme we were doing was our teachers one, and that one is Imagination. We had to answer the 6 Questions on each table and they were all about using our Imagination. After that we had to make a Zinger Pinger and if you don’t what a Zinger Pinger is, it is an imaginary pet. You also had to make an imaginary Island. You also had to have a name of your Zinger Pinger and how old it is and also explain what it looks like and talks like.

The next thing we went to was Ms Tito and she was creativity. What we had to do was create our name some how you had to do it creatively. Now the cool part was that you could do it anyway you wanted to, you could do it like crazy, bubble writing, double writing and even gangsta writing well only if you want to those things but I just did normal writing.

The one after that was Mr Barks and he was practically and practically means something fair and what we did was learnt about scissors and who made them and how they got bigger. Did you now that Leonarado Da Vinci made the scissors and he also is a very famous artist. Practical vs Impractical, and that means witch one is fair and witch one is not fair is. One day two weeks ago Mr Barks 40$ because this lady did not know how to put the gas in the car so he had to do it. When Mr Barks realized she only had 10$ and it just went past the 32liters and Mr barks had to give the money to her and Mr barks gave 40$ to her and she had to pay Mr Barks. Mr Barks he could not believe it because he had got 40$ the same day at night time. Mr Barks was talking about his next door neighbour how they used scissors to trim the grass and then Mr Barks




After that one we went to was Mr Harris and what we had to do was to go and take our netbooks to his class and we had to search up olden day things like the thunder box witch is a toilet. Mr Harris immersion rotation thing we where learning about was Innovation and innovation means thinking outside the box. There is this thing that we had to do and we had to put 9 lines on the piece of paper that we got and than we had to join the dots but what we did’t know was that we could think outside the box like going out of that area or place because he did not mention that did he so that is what innovation means.

Torando in Albany

The tornado in Albany was terrifying because it had ripped up a placemakers roof and it was so devastating because two people had died in this tragedy and that is why I fell so sad for the people that had died. The tornado striked at 3.00 in the afternoon

My Zinger Pinger Peter

My zinger pinger is the best pet in the world because It has razor sharp claws that can scratch through anything in its way. Name it and it can rip it to pieces. With its terrifying teeth it will scare the heck out of you and you will vanish in a blink of an eye. When I call out for help it comes straight away faster then you can imagine. It will protect me with its fire breathing attack and he also has the power to freeze things.

It can fly and it also has three heads like a hydra and when you chop off its head it will grow back again and another head will grow back on the other side. It fights evil and it has kids and they will never die as well. My pet came from outer space in a little meteor rock and it landed in the water. He can talk and also walk, he likes to steal and likes to eat pork. We tell him to be quiet because he thinks he’s a king, but we all say to him he’s a queen. He likes to swim and run and have a lot of fun. He thinks he’s cool but he acts like a fool. His name is Peter.
