Dear Selina
I really appreciated it when you came to camp to come and help with most probably everything especially when you gave up your time to come and help with our camp because we would of not had camp if non of our fabulous helpers came that is why I am very very gratefully and I also think you are really awesome and I also look to you like my hero and you are really really FUNNY!!!!!
My Highlight for camp was Swimarama because I liked to play with my friend Marven and it was this overtaking game when you have to power walk and get into the pool first. The other things that I also liked to do was to go and splash around in the pool and it was nice and cold

Camp T.C
I was so happy because I was going to camp to go and have a lot of fun. It was at Point England School. The group that I was in was the Partcipaters and there were 5 more other teams. Their teams were called Motivatorz, Carerz, Responsiblez, Thinkerz and the Respectablez. My leaders were Charm and Helen Tupou.
When Mr Burt said one of the groups will be missing out on the Kayaking activity, I was hoping it wasn’t my group because it was a very sunny day and I wanted to go for a swim after kayaking. So I was ecstatica when we ended up going down to the beach for kayaking.
Our first activity for the day was playing the indigenous games with Mr Harris. It was boring at the beginning but then it turned out to be quite fun in the end. The games that we played were native games to Australia and some of them were challenging to play. The game we played first was the game where we had to roll the ball over the line and then go and get it to win a point for your group. Then our next game was to throw the hacky sack on to the softball base. It was tricky as can be but only a few people were able to crack it. But I can not remember the rest of the games because I was extremely tired because I had late night packing my bag for camp. It looked like I was awake but on the inside I felt tired.
Then we went to the team building games, they sounded easy but they were hard. Our first game was the one when you had to stick the pole vertically and chuck the tyre over the vertical pole and it took quite a long time until our leader Charm just threw the tyre over the pole. Then Mr Barks asked if we could do it again and we did it in 6 seconds. Then we tried it one last time and we managed to get it over in 3 seconds which was the fastest time any one had done it in.
My dad was very generous and cooked us a hangi, he was the man! He cooked the hangi and it tasted delicious. If you don’t know what a hangi is it is an underground feast that you need to dig a massive hole and put the meat and veges into the hole (but it’s got to be covered in tin foil). Once you start burning the fire, it needs to be around 200 degrees heat before you put the baskets of food in the ground. Then you put the dirt back over the hole because it is very dangerous if it is left uncovered and unsupervised. My dad was on to it! He had the big boys help him dig the hole but my dad really liked Beni because he stayed there for the whole day preparing and cooking the hangi.
When we had dinner and the hangi meal was huge and it was so nice to eat. I ate it all up and it made me full for the rest of the camp. IT WAS DELICIOUS!!!!!
